We built the consultancy we needed when we were the students.

In 2017, our founders arrived in Australia from Bangladesh to pursue their Bachelor's degree at the University of Tasmania. Like thousands of international students, their journey began with a dream of studying in Australia. Turning that dream into reality was far more challenging than expected.

Before arriving, they struggled to find accurate information about study options, admission requirements, visa processes and career pathways. Communication with education agencies was often difficult, responses were delayed and clear guidance was lacking. Determining which university was genuinely the best fit was equally challenging, as recommendations were often influenced by agency commissions rather than the student's long-term goals and interests.

The university application process was confusing and time-consuming. Even after preparing all the required documents, submissions often took weeks with little transparency. The student visa application process was equally overwhelming, creating uncertainty and stress at a critical stage of the journey.

Upon arriving in Australia, the challenges continued. There was no one available to welcome, guide or support them. Finding suitable accommodation was difficult, resulting in temporary living arrangements and unnecessary hardship. University enrolment procedures, settling into a new environment, understanding local systems and building a support network all proved far more complicated than anticipated.

Throughout their student life, another significant gap became evident: the lack of ongoing support. There was limited guidance around career development, professional networking, industry placements and securing the first job after graduation. Students were often left to navigate these important milestones on their own.

Having successfully completed their studies and established their lives and careers in Australia, the founders recognised an opportunity to create something better.

That vision became Next Campus.
